La Mesa Dam fills up due to continuous monsoon rains
Manila Water personnel adjusts the water elevation monitoring board to 80.20 meters at La Mesa Dam following the continuous rains brought by the southwest monsoon on Aug. 28, 2024. The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) warned residents along the Tullahan River to be alert on the rise in the river's water level.
