PLDT off to semis in PVL Reinforced Conference

The PLDT High Speed Hitters reach the semfinals after fending off the Chery Tiggo Crossovers in a tough five-set match, 25-23, 25-27, 15-25, 25-18, 15-9, in the knockout quarterfinals of the Premier Volleyball League (PVL) 2024 Reinforced Conference at the FilOil EcoOil Centre in San Juan City on Aug. 27, 2024. This is PLDT’s first semifinals appearance since the 2023 All-Filipino Conference, and their third overall since 2021. Lena Samoilenko led the scoring for PLDT with 37 points on 32 attacks, three blocks, and two aces. Playmaker Kaf Fajardo orchestrated 23 excellent sets to utilize the High Speed Hitters’ gunners, allowing them to score in the crucial set.
