Thousands of pounds have been raised for a homeless busker after a video of his incredible guitar talents went viral on TikTok.
John Metcalfe, 59, was filmed wowing drivers with his rendition of the Dire Straits song ‘Sultans of Swing’ as they queued up at a MacDonald’s drive-thru.
And now over £3,500 have been donated to the rough sleeping dad - who is hoping to buy a camper van to tour the country in while playing his songs.
John was spotted in a chance encounter by Stephen Flynn after he had gone for breakfast at the fast food outlet in Liverpool on August 20 with some colleagues.
He went on to capture his masterful performance of the 1978 classic and shared it on TikTok – which has since attracted over 10.5 million views.
