Albert Vaguet lived from 1865 to 1943. He was a French tenor.

Vaguet was born in Elbeuf (Seine-Maritime).

He was known for playing Charles Gounod's Faust, a part he held more than 300 times.

He also had roles in Das Rheingold, Die Meistersinger von Nürnberg, Gwendoline (by Emmanuel Chabrier), Thaïs (by Jules Massenet), and Verdi's Otello.

In 1894 he married Albertine Marie Chrétien, better known by her stage name Alba Chrétien, born in Paris 1872. They settled in Nay, near Pau, in 1906.

Albert Vaguet made many recordings for Pathé.
