This summer’s GCSE results are in! While top grades dipped slightly in 2024, they're still above pre-pandemic levels. Across England, Wales, and Northern Ireland, 21.8% of students achieved top grades—down from 22% last year, but higher than 2019’s 20.8%. London leads the way with nearly 29% of students earning top marks, while private and grammar schools continue to outperform others.
