Great white sharks bring more tourists -- and warnings -- to Cape Cod
A growing number of great white sharks are making their way to the waters off Cape Cod, Massachusetts, every summer, lured by an increase in the seal population. The new visitors have generated tourism in the region. 'I think it's actually helped the business a lot having the sharks here,' says the co-owner of a shark-themed store. But as shark lovers flock to the beaches, towns and lifeguards are doing their best to keep people safe by using warning signs and systems to keep swimmers safe.
