IANS Exclusive: While answering the question that where all in India Hybrid Pitches are Installed, Former England Test cricketer Paul Taylor answered, “We’ve installed eight hybrid pitches at HPCA Stadium in Dharamshala: four at the main site and two in each practice area. These pitches were used for practice during two recent IPL games. Feedback was positive, with players noting more pace and bounce. Indian players did not notice they were hybrid pitches, which is a good sign. A few English players observed some visible fibers and bare spots from a previous game. Additionally, we've recently installed a pitch at the Ahmedabad academy ground, but it hasn’t been used yet due to the monsoon. We have more installations planned in the HPCA area and interest from state associations nationwide, with hopes to expand to major centers in the coming months.”
