Security forces foiled a terrorist infiltration attempt at the Pakistan-Afghanistan border in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa's Bajaur district, killing five terrorists and injuring four. However, three soldiers were martyred in the incident. The military has consistently asked the Afghan government to ensure effective border management to prevent such incidents.
