Mum-of-twins Sarah Watson, 28, was in "disbelief" when she saw the herd of people queuing up at the doors of the Villa Romana hotel in Salou, Spain, at 7.55am.
She said the holidaymakers - who were a mix of British, German and Spanish people - would run out when the doors opened to grab the best sunbeds.
She even saw a man collapse one morning in the "chaos" and said his wife stepped over him to secure a lounger before coming back to check on him.
Sarah, a stay-at-home-mum from Edinburgh, Scotland, arrived at the hotel at 10am on July 31, 2024 and said it was already "heaving" and all the sunbeds were gone.
