Van Gogh's 'Starry Night' recreated in Bosnian hills
Amidst the rolling hills of central Bosnia, entrepreneur Halim Zukic transformed his long-time dream into reality—recreating Vincent van Gogh’s Starry Night as a natural park.
After purchasing two hectares of land 20 years ago, Zukic expanded the property to 70 hectares without a clear vision. Six years ago, inspired by spiral-shaped tractor tracks, he decided to develop a Starry Night-themed park, a moment he said defined the rest of his life.
Zukic's park comprises some 130,000 lavender bushes and other aromatic herbs, creating colourful circles and spirals across 10 hectares.
