Watch the moment festival-goers were injured in a 'crowd surge' at Boardmasters festival.

The surge happened at 8.24pm on August 9, 2024, when people were heading to watch DJ Sammy Virji - whose set was cancelled as a result.

One festival-goer claimed the event staff "underestimated" how many people would want to see Sammy Virji - so put him on a smaller stage.

The were two crowd surges that happened moments after each other - resulting in seven people being taken to hospital.
