Streets frozen and buildings collapsed in China! Snowstorm with strong winds hit Beijing
A severe snowstorm swept across northern China on Sunday and Monday, causing widespread disruptions to transportation and education. The Snowstorm affected 12 provinces, including Beijing, Tianjin, Heilongjiang, Liaoning, and Inner Mongolia.
According to the National Meteorological Center, the snowfall was likely to break historical records for the same period of the year. The center issued an orange alert for snowstorms, the second highest level in China’s four-tier warning system.
