Former President Donald Trump held a nearly hour-long, impromptu press conference at his Palm Beach club, Mar-a-Lago. He targeted Vice President Kamala Harris and Minnesota Governor Tim Walz as they led the resurgent Democratic ticket. Trump criticized Harris as a "radical left person" and claimed without evidence that America is in a dangerous position, close to a world war. He announced his participation in debates though only the ABC debate on September 10 has been confirmed by both campaigns. The ex-president claimed one of his events drew more people than the 1963 March on Washington, which had over 250,000 attendees, surpassing the turnout at any of his rallies.
