CrowdStrike's lawyer said Delta turned down onsite assistance from CrowdStrike after the July outage that caused thousands of flight cancellations. Delta CEO estimated the mass cancellations cost the company $500 million, while CrowdStrike's liability is capped at under $10 million. Delta canceled over 5,000 flights after the outage, taking longer to recover operations than its rivals. CrowdStrike's lawyer said Delta would need to explain why it did not cooperate with CrowdStrike after the incident.  CrowdStrike shares have fallen over 36% since the July outage.
