Teignbridge District Council (TDC) has voted majority in favour of demolishing several buildings at Bradley Lane, Newton Abbot.
This includes the Vicary's Mill building, the former home of Laura Windows in the town.
The site has been earmarked for housing, but having been derelict for several years, opinion has been split on what to do with the existing buildings.
Knock them down or somehow incorporate the into any future housing development.
