Men's doubles shuttlers Aaron Chia-Soh Wooi Yik came from behind to beat Great Britain's Ben Lane-Sean Vendy 19-21, 21-16, 21-11 in a hard fought opening Group A match in the Paris Olympics on July 27.

Pearly Tan-M. Thinaah narrowly went down 17-21, 20-22 to China's world No. 1 Chen Qingchen-Jia Yifan in the women's doubles.
