UdioAi is a generative music tool which is normalising & conditioning users to unethical behaviour & workflows.

Examples.

• Many users of the tools have no production , studio or musical experience or understand the disciplines ,workflow , etiquette. They are reliant on the tool & other inexperienced users to inform & condition them.

• The user is reminded that they cannot title the source or emulation of the Act or Artist which the software randomly generated.

• The software has censorship to protect it's brand , profile & status but what about the brand , profile status etc of the un-credited source of the voice?

• A user expends time generating a song which may be removed because of copyright or unauthorised usage of a voice. But the voice emerged from the dataset the tool accessed.

• A user cannot reuse the vocal again on a different genre because there is no credit and transparency given to the source of the vocals.

• The inexperienced naive user has no idea if the source of the voice consented was controversial or is deceased. And will have to evaluate the dilemma of saving the content or scrapping it.

The tools Indirectly condition users to be secretive on the identity of the voice.

Example
A popular headlining voice randomly appears in a generation . The user reveals how fortunate they are & spreads the news. Posts emerge on social media misspelling the name or there are comments encouraging users not to disclose it.

Homogenised westernised neon slop & bias in Ai.

Creative minds Musicians ,Artists etc are global with unique traits cultures & qualities. The Udio website constantly highlights users generating & spamming toilet humor themed Motown production styled songs.

They are ignorant & disrespecting. The history of the label , religious upbringing , civil rights & social struggles of the era. And the contributions of Maxine Powell who groomed acts on the Motown roster to be classy & dignified.

•You have developers who are encouraging unauthorised training of voice models cross posting & promoting sources & tools on the discord channel.

Monetisation & credits.

The human , the voice, the person was a key component in attracting users , investors & subscribers yet their is no transparency or credit given to the origins & source of voice models. But the developers want you to credit usage of the tool in your content if your not a subscriber.

Unauthorised usage of voices = vocal appropriation.
Uncredited voices on monetised content is voiceploitation.
