Trump shooter was bullied every day, an outcast, says school classmate
Thomas Crooks, the man named by the FBI as the shooter in the attempted assassination of Donald Trump, was "bullied every day" in high school, a high school classmate told media on Sunday (July 14).
Jason Kohler, who graduated from Bethel Park High School the year before Crooks, described him as an "outcast" who was "always alone."
Kohler said he did not have any interactions with Crooks but spoke of him sitting alone at lunch and wearing hunting outfits to school.
The FBI identified 20-year-old Crooks as the suspect in the attempted assassination of former US President Donald Trump at a campaign rally on Saturday, July 13. The suspect was shot and killed by the Secret Service seconds after he allegedly fired shots toward a stage where Trump was speaking in Butler, Pennsylvania.
