@Gocciedimemoria Gloria Root (May 28, 1948 – January 8, 2006) [1] was Playboy magazine's Playmate of the Month for the December 1969 issue. Her centerfold was photographed by Pompeo Posar. In 1970 she was arrested in Greece, convicted of having smuggled 38 pounds (17 kilos) of hashish across the border from Turkey, and received a 10-month prison sentence. Married Richard Dodson in 1984; they divorced at the time of her death. Her daughter, Francesca, was born in 1986. Root died of cancer in 2006.
