President Biden will hold his first solo news conference of the year on July 11th after concluding the NATO summit, facing questions about his debate performance and concerns over his candidacy. The unscripted setting will be a test for Biden to clearly answer questions and not show mental lapses, which alarmed many Democrats after his debate with Trump. Over a dozen House Democrats and one Senator have called on Biden to resign, while many privately express concerns about electoral outcomes if he remains the nominee.  It will be Biden's first solo news conference since November. The White House said Biden is looking forward to it and will take questions, seeing it as a chance to address the concerns over his performance and fitness.
