Sony Pictures Chairman Tom Rothman commented that David Ellison will perform well as Paramount's new CEO if the $8 billion Skydance-Paramount deal is finalized. Sony is distributing the new Greg Berlanti romantic comedy "Fly Me to the Moon" starring Channing Tatum and Scarlett Johansson, which opens this weekend. Rothman believes the female moviegoing audience for rom-coms hasn't been lost to streaming if studios continue to make them.
