The Prince of Wales paid a visit to the Royal Air Force station where he worked as a helicopter pilot for three years. On Tuesday, July 9, the Prince of Wales, 42, was photographed visiting RAF Valley in rainy Anglesey for the first time as the Royal Honorary Air Commodore of the Royal Air Force station. It was announced that King Charles had appointed him as Air Commodore in August 2023.
