Should Donald Duck buy war bonds? During World War II, the Walt Disney Studios produced propaganda and instructional shorts for the United States and other Allied countries. Made for the National Film Board of Canada, Donald’s Decision was part of a series of four films directed at the Canadian public to buy war bonds. Released theatrically on January 11, 1942, the cartoon is a remake of the 1938 short Donald’s Better Self.
