It was an emotional atmosphere as several dozen fans from all over the globe gathered on Tuesday (June 25) to pay their tribute to pop icon Michael Jackson on the 15th anniversary of his passing.
Special flower arrangements from China, Ireland, Italy, and Iran adorned the entrance to Forest Lawn’s Great Mausoleum, where the music icon was laid to rest in 2005.
Photos of the late musician aligned the pathway with many personalized messages reading “We miss you” and “We Love You.”
Event organizer Mother Diva praised the turnout, saying for her, it was important for the event to reflect the transcending effect Jackson had on the world, transforming the lives of many.
Over the years, many fans have marked June 25 as a yearly event on their calendars.
