The Natural Resources and Environmental Sustainability (NRES) Ministry is set to become the first government body to participate in Malaysia Aviation Group’s (MAG) corporate carbon programme.

After witnessing the MAG’s 2023 Sustainability Report launch on Monday (June 24), NRES minister Nik Nazmi Nik Ahmad highlighted that this initiative underscores the ministry’s commitment to offsetting greenhouse gases generated by official travel.

However, the minister noted that discussions between the two parties are still in the early stages, and no concrete outline has been established yet.
