Young African activists have joined the fight against desertification as they champion local solutions in their home countries for sustainable land stewardship. As UNCCD’s land heroes cohorts, they have joined other change-makers in Germany’s Bonn city, which is hosting this year’s global observance of Desertification and Drought Day, to share their experiences on their projects.
