Celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay preaches importance of wearing a helmet after bike accident

Celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay issued a dire warning to fans after suffering a "really bad" bike crash.

Lifting up his shirt to reveal an enormous bruise, the chef preached the importance of wearing a helmet when biking, saying, "If I didn't, honestly, I wouldn't be here now"

He also thanked the trauma surgeons, doctors and nurses who cared for him after the accident.

On top of being a chef, Ramsay is known for being an avid cyclist, having completed several triathlons.
