South Australia’s hospital system will enter a third consecutive week operating under a ‘system-wide internal emergency’. But there has been a reprieve, with restrictions on most elective surgeries eased. The decision has been announced as health ministers from across the country met in Adelaide to discuss what they are calling a ‘national crisis’.
