हिंदू मान्यता के अनुसार मां धूमावती की जयंती ज्येष्ठ महीने में शुक्ल पक्ष की अष्टमी को मनाई जाती है. मां धूमावती अलक्ष्मी के नाम से भी प्रसिद्ध हैं. इस साल धूमावती जयंती 14 जून, 2024 को मनाई जाएगी. भगवान शिव द्वारा प्रकट महाविद्या हैं. उनको सातवीं महाविद्या कहा जाता है.वह दरिद्रता को दूर करने वाली देवी हैं. उनको दुखों को दूर और गुस्से को शांत करने वाली देवी भी माना जाता है. पुराणों के मुताबिक उनके बराबर शक्ति कोई दूसरी नहीं है. दुख-तकलीफों से बचने के लिए मां धूमावती की पूजा की जाती है. जो भी भक्त श्रद्धापूर्वक मां की पूजा करता है उन पर मां की कृपा बरसती हैं. धूमावती जयंती की पूजा किसको करनी चाहिए ?
