In a daring operation, Israeli military personnel successfully rescued four Israeli hostages from Gaza on Saturday, following what they described as a "complex daytime operation." The hostages, identified as Noa Argamani (26), Almog Meir Jan (22), Andrey Kozlov (27), and Shlomi Ziv (41), had been kidnapped by Hamas militants during the Nova music festival on October 7.

The operation, which took place in the heart of a civilian neighbourhood, saw the hostages rescued amidst heavy gunfire. Israeli army spokesman Rear Admiral Daniel Hagari described the rescue as challenging, with one Israeli soldier critically wounded in the process.
