Israel’s military announced that rescued four hostages taken by Hamas on October 7.

The four identified as Noa Argamani, Almog Meir Jan, Shlomi Ziv, and Andrey Kozlov were freed after 245 days in captivity and are said to be in good health.

A police statement said an Israeli special forces officer was killed during hostage rescue operation said to have taken place in central Gaza.

116 hostages remain in Hamas captivity.
