PORTSMOUTH: D-Day veterans set sail across the Channel, ahead of events in France to mark the 80th anniversary of D-Day. Royal Navy vessels in Portsmouth Harbour will sail past in formation, sounding their sirens. The Royal British Legion will be escorting just 23 D-Day veterans to Normandy, compared with 255 who travelled to commemorate the 75th anniversary in 2019. Portsmouth International Port.
