The Standing Finance Committee of the House of Representatives examined a supplementary allocation of two point three billion dollars to the Government's Budget for fiscal 2024.

But the serious business of the committee, at one point, became a conversation about the business of eating doubles as one Opposition MP made reference to a photo of one Government Minister eating doubles, something the Minister responded to by saying he is "a little cultured."
