National para lawn bowler Hasmunirah Maliki who replaced her teammate Jariah Zakaria in the last minute for the International Bowls for Disabled World Championship in South Africa surprised herself by striking gold medal in the B2 women's singles event.

Muhamad Ayub Mohd also got his break in the world meet after taking the gold in the B2 men's singles event.
