A former local leader in a landslide-hit village of northern Papua New Guinea vowed to continue the search for the missing amidst a mounting death toll.
Jiman Yandam, whose lodge and two cars were buried in the landslide in Enga Province, said that search parties are now relying heavily on manual labour since the large amount of debris has hampered rescue efforts.
