Family of Taiwan Military Officer Held in China Calls for His Release

The family of a Taiwanese military officer has applied for his voluntary discharge and called for his release from China. The soldier has been held in China since March when he was rescued by the Chinese coast guard off the outlying Kinmen Islands.
