Malaysian medic, Dr. Ashok Kannan who is working with the Mercy Malaysia organisation, was on a brief mission in the Gaza Strip when Israeli tanks rolled across the Rafah border crossing between Gaza and Egypt on Tuesday (May 7), cutting off a vital aid route and the only exit for the evacuation of wounded patients.
