Russia’s Defense Ministry has released a video showing the destruction of a US-supplied M1 Abrams tank to Ukraine near Avdiivka. A black-and-white clip shared by the ministry shows an anti-tank guided missile fired at a barely visible target, resulting in an explosion.
The strike rendered Abrams completely inoperable, with wheels and tracks missing and the compartment for the crew completely burned out.
The incident marks the first Abrams tank captured by the Russian Armed Forces in Ukraine, as reported by the Russian Defence Ministry.
