World Press Freedom Day is commemorated on May 3rd annually. This year the Caribbean Broadcasting Union in collaboration with UNESCO has zoned in on Haiti, where Press Freedom is said to be in serious jeopardy.
Amid a political violent uprising, news broke on May 3rd, that least 12 people were killed following floods and landslides in the country. This formed part of an online discussion held by the CBU and UNESCO.
