The movie stars Lily Chung Suk-wai (鍾淑慧) as a young teenager who is suspected of murdering her family after years of enduring sexual abuse by her demonic father and the brutal indifference by her family members.

The film was followed with two sequels, the 滅門慘案II借種 Daughter of Darkness II (1994) and 替天行道之殺兄 Brother of Darkness (1994).
