Prime Minister Dr Keith Rowley says "that it is absolutely essential for West Indies Cricket to reopen the CPL contract and to look at the resources available to West Indies cricket".

The Prime Minister also says "that lopsided contract must not stand."

Dr Rowley spoke on the matter on day-one of the CARICOM Regional conference on Cricket at the Hyatt Regency hotel in Port of Spain on Thursday.
