Carl Johnson has just escaped the Liberty City, CJ reminds Ryder that he has his brother named Sweet that could help them with their situation. CJ and Ryder then steal a car and head towards the nearest phone booth. At the phone booth, there's a thug that disrespectfully tells Ryder to "find one of your own phones". Angered, Ryder orders CJ to beat up the Unnamed Thug. After beating up the thug, Ryder uses the phone to call Beverly, CJ's mother. Ryder asks Beverly about Sweet's location which she makes agitated. Ryder hangs up on Beverly and asks CJ if they should tell him about the failed bank robbery they committed. CJ has immediately tells Ryder to not tell Sweet and to tell him that they "got in some trouble".
