Backpacker workers and electricians have raised concerns about major safety issues at many remote solar farm sites. Officials from the electrical trades union have also told the ABC there are major safety issues with the way labour is managed at many of these remote sites. The union is calling on the solar farm industry to step up its safety measures and provide more training to workers.
