Independent review recommends mandatory code of conduct for supermarkets

Australia's supermarkets could face big fines if they don't deal fairly with suppliers under new recommendations for a mandatory code of conduct. Former competition minister Craig Emerson, who's leading the review, says supermarkets currently write their own rules, and face no penalty for breaking them.
