Deputy Investment, Trade and Industry Minister Liew Chin Tong told the Dewan Rakyat on Tuesday (March 26) that the trade and technology competition between China and the United States in the semiconductor industry had led to many multinational semiconductor companies to reduce dependency on a sole country.
