ಕಳೆದ ವಿಧಾನಸಭಾ ಚುನಾವಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿ 135 ಸ್ಥಾನಗಳನ್ನು ಪಡೆದು ರಾಜ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಅಧಿಕಾರ ಹಿಡಿದಿರುವ ರಾಜ್ಯದ ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್ ನಾಯಕರಿಗೆ ಮುಂಬರುವ ಲೋಕಸಭಾ ಚುನಾವಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಇಪ್ಪತ್ತಕ್ಕೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಸ್ಥಾನಗಳನ್ನು ಗೆದ್ದು ಹೈಕಮಾಂಡ್ ಗೆ ತಮ್ಮ ಸಾಮರ್ಥ್ಯವೇನು ಎಂಬುದನ್ನು ತೋರಿಸಿಕೊಡುವ ಜರೂರತ್ತು ಎದುರಾಗಿದ್ದರೆ, ಹೈಕಮಾಂಡ್ ಕೂಡ ರಾಜ್ಯದ ನಾಯಕರಿಂದ ಉತ್ತಮ ಫಲಿತಾಂಶವನ್ನು ನಿರೀಕ್ಷೆ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದೆ.
