This is the moment a baby elephant struggled to follow its mother over a fallen tree.

The adorable video, filmed in Jinghong, China, shows the young animal desperate to get itself over log while its mother wanders ahead unaware.

At one point the baby even gets over the low obstacle but in its confusion manages to get stuck on the other side again.

Thankfully the tiny elephant's efforts were successful and it eventually followed its mother along the wooded path.
