It's four wins in a row for SD Worx–Protime at Strade Bianche Donne after Lotte Kopecky ripped away to victory in 2024. The Dutch team's dominance began with Chantal van den Broek-Blaak taking top spot in 2021, with Kopecky (2022) and Demi Vollering (2023) also claiming top spot. Now Kopecky has her second title in Tuscany after a perfectly judged race that saw her see off Elisa Longo Borghini.
Lotte Kopecky dropped a devastating attack on the final climb to claim a second victory at Strade Bianche ahead of Elisa Longo Borghini.
A well-played tactical ride from Kopecky saw her bide her time perfectly to attack in the final 500 meters to take the victory by four seconds in Sienna. In doing so, she equaled the record held for wins at the Strade Bianche women's race as she joined Annemiek van Vleuten on two Tuscan victories.
The podium was completed by Longo Borghini and Demi Vollering (SD Worx-Protime), both former winners of Strade Bianche themselves.
