Bitcoin hit a two-year high, trading above $57,000, up over 10% in the past two sessions. The rally was helped by MicroStrategy announcing a $155 million purchase of around 3,000 additional bitcoins. Ether also rallied and broke $3,200, hitting its highest since April 2022. The value of Bitcoin has recently increased, supported by the U.S. approval of Bitcoin-backed ETFs. Bitcoin rallied further in February ahead of the April halving event, which cuts miners' rewards in half and is expected to slow the release of the remaining Bitcoin supply.
