The KTM 990 Duke is coming in 2024 to take the Austrian firm's bare average one step further, bringing it even closer to the "thousand" figure. It brings many changes compared to its predecessor, the KTM 890 Duke R, and with this completely updated model, KTM celebrates 30 years of the successful Duke saga.

The KTM 990 Duke keeps intact the main features that have always allowed it to make a difference, with an aggressive and sharp design, a lot of character, a lot of power and a chassis designed solely to deliver fun. In this way, this version differs from the previous model thanks to the completely new chassis, updated swingarm, larger displacement engine and higher performance.

The front looks noticeably updated, with the position in the profile of the headlight and daytime running lights with a new optics with LED technology; Thanks to a light sensor integrated into the headlamp profile, it automatically adjusts its intensity according to the ambient light conditions. instrumentation Additionally, the Return to Home function is added, so that the light remains on for a few seconds after the ignition is turned off, so the driver can open the doors and increase visibility in the garage.

The engine of the KTM 990 Duke 2024 is a completely updated LC8c engine with new pistons, crankshaft and connecting rod, achieving 123 HP of power and 103 Nm of torque for a motorcycle with a dry-assembled weight of only 179 Kg. Seen this way, like a good Duke, this 2024 version is a high-performance-oriented machine designed around a lightweight and manageable chassis that gives maximum confidence to the rider.

We found five riding modes to adapt the motorcycle to the conditions presented to us: Street, Sport and Rain as standard modes and Performance and Track as optional modes. Traction control, throttle response and launch control are some of the aids that make it easier for you to get the most out of the Duke in any situation.
